Th3rd Dimension Media partnered with the Great Barrier Reef Marine Park Authority (GBRMPA) to produce a high-impact drone compliance awareness video aimed at educating the public and promoting responsible drone use across the Great Barrier Reef. This reef protection campaign highlights how long-range UAVs are being used as part of GBRMPA’s surveillance strategy to monitor fishing activity and enforce compliance within protected marine zones.

Working with aerial, ground, and on-water footage supplied by GBRMPA and its partners, our team crafted a sharp 60-second awareness video optimised for social media. The content was designed to increase community understanding, encourage safe drone operations, and demonstrate the role of UAV surveillance in preserving one of Australia’s most valuable natural ecosystems.

The final drone compliance awareness video was delivered in multiple formats for use across GBRMPA’s digital channels and continues to support their marine conservation messaging.
