Green Energy Event Media at Cowboys vs Broncos in Townsville

Th3rd Dimension Media had camera teams on the ground at Queensland Country Bank Stadium in Townsville for the North Queensland Cowboys’ match against the Brisbane Broncos on 25 July 2026. We were there on behalf of our ongoing corporate client, Green Energy Technologies, capturing media to support brand awareness and upcoming marketing.

The assignment took our work with Green Energy into a live stadium setting. Our brief was client media capture: recording material for the business to use beyond game day, as part of its continuing content program.

A Queensland derby in Townsville

The stadium’s official coverage confirms the Cowboys–Broncos derby took place on 25 July 2026. The fixture brought the North Queensland Cowboys and Brisbane Broncos together at the Cowboys’ Townsville home ground.

For a media crew, a live event is a different environment from a controlled shoot. Timing is set by the event, activity moves quickly, and the opportunity to record a moment may only happen once. Coverage needs to respond to that pace while staying focused on the client’s brief.

Filming for Green Energy Technologies

Green Energy Technologies provides residential and commercial solar and battery solutions across North Queensland, including Townsville, Mackay and the Whitsundays. TDM supplies ongoing media coverage for the business, helping build content for its communications and marketing.

At the Cowboys–Broncos game, our camera teams captured material on Green Energy’s behalf for brand awareness and future campaigns. The purpose of the coverage was to give the client media from the event that could contribute to its upcoming marketing.

That distinction matters: attending with cameras is only the capture stage. The intended use of the material gives the shoot its direction, whether the content later forms part of a campaign, a brand update or another piece of client communication.

Building on our previous corporate event work

This stadium assignment follows earlier shoots for the same client. Our Green Energy quarterly event project at Northerlies included an event highlight film, to-camera interviews and edited footage for future use.

We also covered Green Energy’s corporate event at Coral Sea Resort, producing a highlight video, short social edits, interviews and supporting footage. Those projects document the team and its events; the stadium shoot adds a different setting to the ongoing relationship.

Content that continues beyond the event

The value of ongoing media coverage is the ability to build on earlier work. Instead of treating every event as an isolated production, we can understand how each new shoot fits into the client’s wider content needs.

For Green Energy, this latest assignment supports the continuing flow of media for brand awareness and upcoming marketing. For TDM, it is another example of corporate content capture across North Queensland, from waterfront team events to a busy stadium.
