Bowen Basin Videography, Photography & Drone Services
Commercial media production for mining, resources and industry throughout the Bowen Basin.
Get a QuoteTDM has worked throughout the Bowen Basin for most of our approximately 15 years in operation. The region is part of our normal Queensland service area, with crews returning every few months for mining, resources and industrial clients. That experience includes repeated mine-site access, numerous inductions, remote mobilisation and coordinated photography, video and drone production across the inland mining region.

Producing in the Bowen Basin
TDM arrives prepared for the operational realities of mining and resources work. Our crews are accustomed to site-specific inductions, PPE, permits, access requirements, safety teams, exclusion zones and working around active plant, heavy machinery and shutdown environments.
Remote location does not prevent production from continuing. Sealed equipment cases, mine-compliant vehicle capability, onboard 12-volt power, generator and solar-supported charging, mobile workstations and Starlink allow us to protect equipment, back up media, process footage and transfer assets where conventional infrastructure is limited.
- Coordinated Site VisitsPhotography, video, interviews and drone capture planned as one efficient production.
- Multi-Site SchedulingConsecutive Bowen Basin site visits coordinated around travel, inductions, access and operational windows.

FAQ
Bowen Basin Production FAQ
Practical answers for mining, resources and industrial teams planning photography, video and drone production across the Bowen Basin.
Yes. TDM has extensive experience working within mine-site operating requirements, including site-specific inductions, PPE, permits, access controls, safety teams, exclusion zones and production around active plant and heavy machinery. Every production is planned around the requirements of the client and site.
Yes. Completing client and site-specific inductions is a normal part of TDM's Bowen Basin work. Our team holds numerous current and historical inductions across mining, industrial, drilling and offshore environments and can complete additional project-specific requirements.
Yes. Subject to site access, aviation approvals and production requirements, TDM can assemble photographers, videographers, drone pilots and production crew for one coordinated visit. This creates a consistent library of ground video, interviews, photography, aerial content and campaign assets without relying on disconnected suppliers.
Yes. TDM regularly mobilises crews and equipment throughout the Bowen Basin from the Whitsundays or Mackay. Confirmed operating locations include Moranbah, Nebo, Dysart, Coppabella, Middlemount, Glenden and the wider Isaac Region.
Our production systems are designed for remote and off-grid work. Equipment travels in sealed, dust-resistant cases, with 12-volt power, generator and solar-supported charging available where required. Mobile workstations and Starlink support backups, processing, editing and media transfer from locations with limited communications.
Yes. We can plan multi-site Bowen Basin productions and schedule consecutive site visits as one coordinated production. This approach helps manage travel, inductions, access, crew requirements and equipment efficiently.
TDM provides commercial drone photography and videography, aerial mapping, equipment assessment, site context, progress documentation and campaign capture. Operations are planned with mine supervisors and on-site aviation or drone teams where required so flight paths and operating areas do not conflict with site activity.
TDM operates under a current CASA ReOC with RePL remote pilots. Broader capability includes AROC, night operations, an Instrument Rating completed for the BVLOS qualification pathway, permanent approval under our ReOC for operations as close as 15 metres to people subject to approval conditions, and commercial RPA operations using aircraft up to 25 kg. Applicable approvals are assessed for each operation.
