TDM Goes International: From Private Aircraft to Bali’s AYANA Resort

TDM’s cameras were rolling before the guests even reached Bali. For National Agriculture and Related Industries Day on 21 November 2023, our team filmed aboard two private guest aircraft, then continued the coverage at AYANA Resort in Indonesia.
Commissioned by Hancock Agriculture, with support from Hancock Prospecting, the international production brought photography, video, drone capture and on-site editing together around one event story.
From private aircraft to AYANA Resort
The official 2023 event archive describes a programme that began in the air, with speakers and videos en route, before an oceanfront gala dinner.
Our coverage followed that journey. Filming aboard the guest aircraft captured speeches and travel moments, giving the final story a beginning before the resort programme unfolded.
At AYANA Resort in Bali, the brief extended across keynote sessions, panels, networking and the gala dinner. Photography recorded the people and atmosphere, while video captured the delivery of speeches, movement and entertainment. Drone footage added the resort setting and arrivals.
An international production with a coordinated crew
The full National Agriculture Day project involved a director of photography, chief drone pilot, photographers, videographers, editors and a dedicated media assistant.
Bringing those roles together across an international production required advance planning and equipment suited to the travel and event schedule. The crew needed to keep capture moving while giving the editors access to priority material throughout the programme.
A gala dinner also changes quickly as the light fades and the evening moves between speeches, audience reactions and entertainment. Coordinating photography and video around those moments helped us build a connected visual record.

A 60-second highlight ready at event close
Capture and editing ran alongside each other. Our on-site editors prioritised material during the production, with a 60-second highlight delivered immediately after the event closed.
That first edit gave the client a concise version of the event while the experience was still fresh. The wider delivery included an image gallery in multiple formats and a post-event showcase featuring keynote and entertainment footage.
Assets were prepared for social media, press and internal communications, giving the client several ways to share the event rather than relying on a single finished film.
From Bali straight into the next assignment
The production schedule continued the following day as our teams departed Bali for Port Hedland and back-to-back coverage of National Mining Day.
For TDM, the assignment demonstrates how our event media work travels: the location changes, but the need to plan capture, coordinate the crew and deliver usable assets remains central.
