Magnums Airlie Beach: Accommodation Video Production by TDM

Professional videography photography and drone footage of coastal area

A traveller discovering an accommodation business on social media needs a different introduction from someone already browsing its website. In 2025, TDM created a coordinated video suite for Magnums Airlie Beach, designed to give those different touchpoints a consistent visual story.

The main Magnums showcase video was uploaded on 11 June 2025. This project highlight looks at the coordinated set of deliverables from that production.

Our Magnums accommodation video project brought together a 60-second brand film, three 15-second edits and a 27-second looping website hero. Each deliverable had its own job, while drawing from the same planned production.

Showing the accommodation and its setting

Magnums offers adults-only private accommodation in tropical gardens in central Airlie Beach. That creates two connected subjects for a film: the spaces guests use during their stay, and the location that puts them close to the town’s activity.

For an accommodation shoot, the useful details go beyond a wide view of a room. Guests want to understand the setting, the atmosphere and the practical facilities. Our production planning included weather and tides, helping us coordinate the exterior and location footage with the conditions on the day.

A brand film with shorter, focused edits

The main 60-second video provides the broader introduction. Alongside it, we delivered three short edits focused on Ensuite Cabins, the Eco Theme and Shared Facilities. Those individual subjects give the client options for presenting a particular part of the accommodation experience without using the entire brand film each time.

A short edit works best when it has a clear purpose. It can introduce a room option, show the environment or explain a feature that a prospective guest is considering. Planning those separate stories during the shoot helps us capture the material each one needs, rather than relying on a simple cut-down after production.

A website banner that keeps the visual story moving

The website deliverable was a 27-second seamless loop, supplied in versions with and without music. Its role differs from a conventional promotional film: it provides an immediate visual introduction as people arrive on the site and can repeat smoothly while they explore.

The suite also carried a dark-green brand finish to keep the presentation consistent. Delivering the website loop, main film and short edits together gives the business a related set of assets for its own online channels.

Planning content around how it will be used

This is a useful starting point for tourism video production in Airlie Beach and the Whitsundays: decide where the content will appear before deciding what to shoot. Website presentation, social updates and a longer brand introduction each benefit from their own structure and pace.
